Visit to Pengkalan Ampat Primary School

This tribal village took us about 1 hour bus ride. We enyoyed the beautiful greenery along the way. As it was raining along the way, we felt sleepy and took a nap during the bus ride. The view along the mountain side was spectacular.

We felt very welcome and surprised by the schools hospitality. We shook hands with all the pupils all the way till we reach the hall. There was a spectacular performance put up by the local children. We enjoyed every single second of it.

One similarity we find in this school as compared to the lodge school was both these schools have a kindergarten together in the primary school.

One thing that first struck us was how similar their school uniform was to TWPS.

Even though this may be a village school, they are very strong in terms of aesthetic performance. They won many prizes and medals in their performing dances.

The air is so fresh here, and the view is beyond words to describe.

Our last night...

We had a nice buffet dinner at a Malay restaurant. As it will be the last dinner eating as a group we had mixed feeling. We felt happy because tomorrow we will get to see our parents and siblings.

On the other hand, we also feel a bit sad because we will miss Sarawak, Aunt Anna and the rest of the sweet memories.

We had learnt so much during the trip.

Buffet Dinner with lots of ice cream

Ater a long and tiring day at the lodge school and watching orangutans in action, it's finally time for dinner. There was so much food we could keep getting back at the buffet tray to get more. However, the best was dessert. Ice cream!!! We could take as much as we wanted.

We were so full that after shower and updated our blogs we went to bed
